TORONTO – April 20, 2012 – Visual SKUs, a leading provider of 360 product photography, still product photography, and digital asset management solutions, today announced that Robert Bosch, LLC has partnered with Visual SKUs to capture, process and format 360 product images.
Bosch required images for many of their product categories. Their business objectives for these product images were to increase sales through customer channels, minimize product returns, build awareness for Bosch brands, and differentiate their products from their competitors.
After an extensive search for a high-volume product imaging provider, Bosch selected Visual SKUs. They were impressed with the onsite solutions Visual SKUs offered their years of experience, and their track record of successfully completing large scale product imaging projects.
When Bosch was evaluating high-volume product imaging solutions, they discovered many benefits of producing 360 product images including:
- Capture still and 360 product images concurrently saving time and money. 360 product images are a series of still images that, when placed in a viewer, provide the customer the ability to pan and zoom around the product. When Bosch captures 360 images they will not need to capture still images separately; they select the still images needed from the 360 images.
- Increase sales with 360 product images. Many businesses using 360 images are experiencing higher sales when compared to still images alone.
- Maximize competitive advantage. Since the marketplace has been slow to adopt 360 product images, Bosch believed they might have the opportunity to gain a competitive advantage by being first to market with 360 product images.
Michael Stoll, Director, Catalogs, at Robert Bosch LLC, stated “We selected Visual SKUs as our imaging partner because they were able to deploy their studios in our distribution center avoiding the need to ship products. We also felt that their photography, editing, and project management software would ensure that image production levels and quality standards were met.” Mr. Stoll also added, “After capturing thousands of 360 product images from multiple product categories we are confident we made the right decision partnering with Visual SKUs, they are the product imaging experts.”
